Sports Joe Bio

If you Google the 4 letters, "ESPN," tell me what it says after the colon. (If you took the time to do this you're very bored...) Well how about I just tell you: The Worldwide Leader in Sports. And that they are. I can't get enough of the 4 letter. I find myself arguing with the LCD on a daily basis. And when you're as passionate about the sports world as I am, you have to voice you opinion! That is what this blog is all about. I'm the First Take, Around the Horn, Pardon the Interruption, Scott Van Pelt, Jim Rome show all rolled into one. I dominate sports debates like Skip Bayless. I have an obsession to know all sports topics like Howie Schwab. Still don't get me?

Remember Ron Burgundy in Anchor Man, Yazz flute and news anchor icon? I'll be your Ron Burgundy.... Before the man punted Baxter.
When coming up with names for this blog, I have to admit, I was completely stumped at first. You have to think its 2011 now people have been blogging for years now...Every appropriate name this side of the Mississippi was taken of course..After numerous debates and crossing off ideas like, Bretts "Late Night" Texts, Woody Paige's Blackboard and I Still Can't Believe Pedro Thew Down Zimmer....I had to go with First Game, Home.

First Game, Home was the term my college roommates and I applied to whomever wanted to play video games first. (X-Box 360 baby!)  It's a great way to decide who plays and who sits. Similar to the old "shotgun/shotty rule," used to determine who sits in the front seat of the car. First Game, Home will provide my readers the first chance to get a look at the biggest, best, most controversial sports topics everyday. If this sounds like something you might be interested in, just follow!

 Sports Joe Rules

1. No blood no foul. I call it like it is here. I won't beat around the bush about any topic. If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen people.
2. Keep it clean. I know the "Sports Joe Buddies" will be commenting on this after it gets going, so guys lets try to keep the profanity to a minimum.
3. Throw the challenge flag. If I'm wrong on a player or statistic please let me know asap! I'm just going with with what I know and I promise I don't know everything.
